Our Hong Kong Foundation awards InnoStars awards annually to outstanding scientists, technologists and innovators who have significantly advanced Hong Kong’s competitive advantage through science, technology and business model innovation. The Hong Kong Arts Prize was established annually since 2022 through a donation from Professor Wang Gungwu’s family – an esteemed historian and founding member of The University of Hong Kong. It consists of two prizes for undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as a research fund to honor Professor Wang’s wish that part of his loan funds for historical research be re-designated as prize fund upon his passing.
